Operating Temp. and Conditions of rubber cable for coal mine
1. The long-term operating temp. for cable conductor should be 65ºC;
2. The highest operating temp. for short-circuit (for 5s) should be 150ºC;
3. The minimum bending radium should be 6 times of the cable OD;
4. The cable should be kept in dry & clean places. Pay attention to water-penetration, sunshine and moisture.
5. When the cable is being laid, the drum of which should be set up through a roller. Do not drag it on the ground or smash it with the heavy.

Test of rubber cable for coal mine

1.Insulated power cores and control cores shall be subjected to the frequency voltage specified in Table 6 without breakdown after voltage test.
2. Rubber sheathed flexible cable for coal miner(MC) and travelling rubber sheathed flexible cable for coal mining(MC) should have the following properties:
1) Properties to withstand mechanical impacting
Hammer weighs 20kg, impact times based power core nominal cross section provides as follows:
16sq.mm-35sq.mm ...... 2 times
50sq.mm-70sq.mm ...... 3 times

2) Properties to withstand mechanical pressure

Cables of different voltage levels applied pressure as follows:
U0/U:0.38/0.66 kV ...... 20 kN
0.66/1.14 kV ...... 30 kN

No short circuit or breaking circuit shall happen on the cable after the test.
